WaterlinieWezens

Together with one of my best friends, Wes Kalverkamp I will be working on a big project in Culemborg. We both grew up here and now we’ve been presented the chance to make a sightspecific work at werk aan het spoel, a fortress thats part of the Dutch water defense lines.

Wes and i will combine our powers to bring mysterious creatures to the fortress. One will represent the natural world, this is wes’ terrain. He’ll be working with braided willow. I’ll be collecting big objects in order to make a giant Findling, A Findling so big that you suddenly become as small as a piece of trash.

Opening 19th april

Expo De Koepel Haarlem

I started my residency in the Koepel together with another Rietveld graduate in Harlem on the first on january. The Koepel is an old prison that is now being used for many different purposes. This year they started organizing residencies, this allows starting artists to use one of the cells as a studio. I am working there from the start of january until the end of march which is then followed by an exhibition that opens on the 4th of april and continues until the 6th. Feel free to come by!
